An average of two to three deaths happen each year from people falling into the Grand Canyon.

Emily Koford was almost a statistic. Someone caught video of her stumbling near the rim as she was fumbling with her phone.

The video was initially caught by a tourist who saw the woman and her mother posing on the rock and wanted to show his kids what not to do.
