As the hammer slices through the glass like butter on a hot day, the video slowed to 120,000 frames per second actually shows how the impact creates a ripple-effect before the glass inevitably smashes.
The Slow Mo Guys have quite the knack for capturing some incredible footage. In one of their last videos, they heated and exploded a Pyrex measuring cup to the same effect. They even crashed a lego plane.
