WATCH: THE WHITE STRIPES RELEASE “CITY LIGHTS” MUSIC VIDEO

Longtime visual White Stripes collaborator Michel Gondry has gone back to his roots to produce a new music video for the band’s track “City Lights”.

Last week, Jack White shared a collection of unreleased acoustic recordings, Jack White Acoustic Recordings 1998-2016. Over the weekend, unbeknownst to White, Gondry put together a new video for the band’s previously unreleased single. The video shows simple illustrations to the lyrics being drawn on a glass wall of a steamy shower.

In the past, the two worked together for “Dead Leaves On The Dirty Ground,” “The Hardest Button To Button,” “Fell In Love With A Girl,” and “The Denial Twist” music videos.
