Two-year-old Fined for Littering
She was slapped with a $75 ticket
Harper Westover received a ‘notice of violation’ from the Department of Public Works in Washington D.C. because she allegedly dropped a piece of mail in the alley behind her house. It was an unopened envelope addressed to Harper from a kids fan club called Bucky’s Buddies.
Harper’s mom said she immediately called the inspector who issued the ticket and explained that Harper was only two-years-old and asked if she would rescind the ticket. The inspector refused.
Her dad, Chuck Westover, alerted a local blog about the incident, and it’s since gone viral.
