The Clip Follows A Woman And A Boy Who Escape From A Hospital To Spend Time With Each Other
Mumford & Sons have just shared a moving new clip for their Delta single, “Beloved.”
The video, which was filmed in Port Talbot and directed by Charlotte Regan, follows a boy and a woman who escape from a hospital to spend time together in a surreal sequence of clips, ultimately culminating to a heartbreaking ending. “Everyone knows loss in one way or another,” frontman Marcus Mumford explains, according to NME. “This song is about that. I’d never sat with anyone as they died before, and it had an effect on me. As it does everyone I know who has experienced it.”
