Gravenhurst Looking For Partners To Fix Up Long-Vacant Property

Muskoka Regional Centre Property Has Sat Unused Since 1993

Gravenhurst is looking to spruce up some property that has sat vacant since the early 90’s. The Muskoka Regional Centre has been permanently closed since 1993, and the province-owned property hasn’t been redeveloped since. They recently declared the property surplus, meaning it’s on the auction block for Gravenhurst to scoop up. Town Council say they’re working on ways of redeveloping the property, while Mayor Paisley Donaldson says they’re looking forward to finding a partner to not only fix it up, but also bring new jobs to town.
