Pair Jump From Bedroom Window During Barrie Home Invasion

Two residents had to flee their home after cops say a guy broke in and tried to mug them. Barrie Police were called out to Maitland Dr. around 8:00 last night, with reports someone had forced his way through the front door and demanded money, drugs, and valuables of the two residents. The pair fled through a bedroom window, while the suspect took off. Police tracked down a vehicle not far off, said to contain goods stolen from the Maitland Dr. home. Police tracked down the car’s owner, a 23-year-old man, who didn’t have a good enough story to avoid being charged with, among others, Break and Enter, Assault, and Robbery with Violence.
