It’s McHappy Day! Rock 95 Is Live On Location from McDonald’s Bayfield St
Come Say Hi & Support Kids in Our Community
Today is McHappy Day and any time that you can simply have something to eat while supporting a good cause, well it’s a no-brainer event to out and help support. Today, $1 from every Big Mac, Happy Meal or McCafe that McDonald’s serves will go to support Ronald McDonald Houses and Children’s Charities in our local communities.
Last year, McDonald’s locations across Canada managed to raise more than $4 million on this single day event. To help support the cause, special guests are brought in to “help out” the restaurant staff. Local sports and media personalities, local dignitaries and celebrities get behind the counter and greet and serve customers to raise money for families and their sick children across the country. Really, I think the special guests just tend to get in the way of the busy staff on McHappy Day, but everyone takes it in stride and make it a fun event by working together.
ROCK 95 personalities will be helping out at the McDonald’s location on Bayfield St. across from Georgian Mall throughout the day today. If you’re not sure how your donation helps families, click on the video below to meet some of the people you’ll be helping our during McHappy Day.
