Drinking Smoking Driving Not A Good Combination

6 teens in a lot of hot water with police and their parents today. Just before midnight police in Alcona noticed a car driving around without headlights. The officer stopped the car behind a plaza, at which time the driver fled on foot, leaving his five friends to fend for themselves. Police say the car smelled of marijuana and he found open alcohol with the other youths, all aged 16 and 17.
Further investigation revealed the driver was only a G-1 and in violation of his licensing conditions. All 6 were charged and taken home to their parents.
