Driver Lost His Licence For Three Months

A tip from a concerned citizen lead to a drunk driving arrest in Penetanguishene. Southern Georgian Bay OPP got the call around 4:30 Saturday afternoon, of a possible impaired driver on Poyntz Street. The vehicle was tracked down moments later in the Village Square Mall parking lot, and the 62-year-old Penetanguishene man behind the wheel was handed a Drunk Driving charge. His licence was suspended for 90 days and he lost his ride for a week.
