Fresh Air Fridays Kicks off In Downtown Barrie
Campaign Offers Big Prizes and Chance To Do A Good Turn
Today marks the first ever Fresh Air Friday in downtown Barrie. Over 60 downtown retailers, restaurants and services are participating in this thing too, if you go shopping between noon and store closing on Fridays in May, you’ll get a ballot to win some choice merchandise from Barrie’s downtown shops, and if you make a non-perishable food donation to the Women And Children’s Shelter of Barrie, you get a second ballot. The bountiful prize package is valued at over $2500 bucks, and you get to help a worthy cause.
