Tony Clement Withdraws From Leadership Race

Parry Sound - Muskoka MP Cites Financial Reasons

Tony Clement has reached in and pulled his hat out of the ring. The Parry Sound Muskoka Conservative MP announced via a Facebook video this morning he is dropping out of the race for Leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada. Clement, a former cabinet minister under Stephen Harper, said his choice was a financial one, not wanting to subject his family to more economic stress. Clement has yet to endorse another candidate.
