Ontario's Minimum Wage Increasing This Fall
Those on minimum wage in Ontario are getting a raise this fall. Queen’s Park announced this morning it’s boosting the general minimum wage by 15 cents an hour to $11.40 and hour. The minimum for students will also rise 15 cents to $10.70 an hour; liquor servers will get a dime more at $9.90 an hour. With the increases, Ontario’s minimum wage remains the highest in Canada.
