Things got heated in the House of Commons Wednesday after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was accused by opposition MP’s of ‘manhandling’ Opposition Whip Gord Brown and knocking NDP MP Ruth Ellen Brosseau into a desk while crossing the floor.
NDP Leader Tom Mulcair yelled at Trudeau when he attempted to cross the floor again to apologize to Brosseau. The tension in the House of Commons stemmed from the Liberal majority government almost losing a vote on Bill C-10, which is a legislation that would relieve Air Canada of it’s legal obligation to have maintenance on its planes done in Canada.
Trudeau has since apologized.
