Online Friendship Turns Nasty
Police Found Suspect Waiting In Car
A Facebook friendship took a turn for the worse and police were called in when the female involved began fearing for her safety. Early this morning Barrie Police were called to check on the woman place of residence after a man she had friended became abusive and threatening on-line and in person when they met at her place of work. Police found the suspect sitting outside the woman’s home in his vehicle.
A 30 year old Mississauga man is now facing multiple charges, including uttering death threats, attempted break and enter and mischief.
