This weekend hundreds of the world’s best snowmobile race teams pull into our area to compete at Georgian Downs for the Royal Distributing Cup. It’s high-flying extreme snowmobile snowcross racing. Part of the Canadian Snowcross Racing Association 2016 circuit and one of the premiere stops on the circuit.

Pro racers fly their sleds through the air over huge jumps and moguls chasing C.S.R.A. points throughout the season in the quest to capture the #1 plate for 2016. There’s thrills and lots of spills and you can catch all of the action indoors! Georgian Downs uses their heated grandstand for spectators where you can enjoy a beverage and some snacks while taking in the weekend racing action.

C.S.R.A. races are very family-friendly offering FREE mini-snowmobile rides for the kids…there’s even kids racing during the competition days on Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets are available in advance (includes Rockstar Energy Pit Pass) at St. Onge Recreation in Barrie. Also at Royal Distributing in Innisfil, or you can get either a weekend or day pass at the Georgian Down gates on race days.

The Bailey’s Race Team will be at St. Onge Recreation on Hart Drive in Barrie signing autographed posters from noon until 4.
