UPDATE: Serious Crash Shuts Down 400 Through King City
Victim has died of injuries
Thursday – OPP advise the 69 year old Burlington man hurt in this crash on Wednesday has died of his injuries. Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact OPP at 905-841-5777.
Wednesday – Police closed off all lanes of the 400 through King City after a truck lost a tire. A 69-year-old man was airlifted to Toronto hospital with life-threatening injuries around 10:00 this morning, after a southbound transport truck’s tire flew off and onto a northbound SUV. The driver veered off the highway near King Road, suffering serious injury. All lanes of the north and southbound 400 were closed at King Rd. after the air ambulance was brought in.
