Maybe it’s your birthday. Maybe you’ve got a bachelor party to plan. Or maybe, you could just use a good old fashioned guys weekend. Whatever the reason, this should help you take a weekend away with your buddies to the next level (we can not be held responsible if you wind up in the doghouse).
Back Country Tours ATV Adventure (Muskoka/Haliburton)
Get off the beaten path, and up the adrenaline with an ATV adventure. Back Country Tours guarantees “fun at every twist, turn and splash.” They have a wide variety of experiences to choose from, from two-hour excursions to multiple day trips that include over night accommodations. They train everyone on the machines, so don’t worry if you’re new to the ATV life, just be prepared to get dirty – they promise lots and lots of mud.
White Water Rafting At Wilderness Tours Adventure Resort (Ottawa River)
Not for the faint of heart! Tackle the best whitewater in Canada with your best buddies. Wilderness Tours Adventure Resort offers a wide variety of adventures, from an afternoon on the river to full weekend events. The resort also boasts a beach, hot tubs, bungee jumping and a pretty spectacular night life. You’re welcome.
Georgian Bay Airways Fly In Fishing Adventure (Parry Sound)
There’s nothing quite like sitting on a remote lake, line in the water, cold beverage in hand. Georgian Bay Airways will take you out to remote Partridge Lake where you can fish for Northern, smallmouth bass, largemouth and walleye. They’ll give you two boats (fits up to 8 people) and there are some awesome campsites on the lake as well. Zero chance of getting a cell signal here – perfect.
Muskoka Surf Trip (Muskoka)

Here’s the jist – you and a group of your buddies board a boat and tour the Muskokas while learning how to wake surf while hitting any number of Muskoka hot spots along the way. Well done, Muskoka Wake. Well done.
Blue Mountain Guys Weekend (Town of the Blue Mountains)
Ahhh, the classic Blue Mountain Guys Weekend. There is almost no end to the things you can do at Blue Mountain. Want to Golf? No problem. Go for an off-road Hummer tour? Yep..they’ve got that. Mountain climbing? That too. Oh, and did we mention there is unbelievable restaurants and night life? Well, there is. What are you waiting for? Call your buddies, get this organized. Let’s go!
Mountain Bike The Bruce (Bruce County)
Bruce County boasts 5 different bike trails to choose from. Each is unique, but they all boast spectacular scenery and “pure cycling wilderness.” Whether you want to try to Mountain Bike Adventure Park in Wiarton or the sweet single track at Brant Tract near Paisley, there is something for everyone. Don’t forget your bug spray though – those Bruce County mosquitoes are the size of seagulls.
Northern Ontario Brewery Tour (Gravenhurst, Bracebridge, Baysville)
Northern Ontario is home to some fantastic craft brewery’s so why not visit them all? Step 1: Rent some transportation and hire a driver. Drinking and driving is never an option – depending on your budget, there are tons of different options, ranging from buses to limousines. Step 2: Hit the road and enjoy some brews. We suggest starting at Sawdust City Brewhouse in Gravenhurst. From there, it’s just a quick 15 minute jaunt to Muskoka Brewery in Bracebridge. End your epic pint-parade with a stop at Lake of Bays Brewing Company in Baysville. We’ve done all the hard work for you.
