Rock 95 Turkey Drop in support of the Barrie Foodbank

Rock 95 is giving you the chance to gobble up some bonus Birthday Bash passes.

With the annual Rock 95 Turkey Drop-in Support of the Barrie Food Bank.

Thursday October 10th, we’ll be broadcasting live from Zehrs on Bayfield Street from 7am-7pm collecting Turkeys for the Barrie Food Bank.

For every Turkey donated you’ll earn a ballot and be entered to win 1 of 5 pairs of Bash Passes!

According to Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, one-in-three households (30.7%) in Simcoe Muskoka experienced some level of household food insecurity in 2023.  The provincial average is 24.7%.

Barrie Food Bank is currently supporting just over 7,000 individuals monthly.  This is double from last year and triple from pre-pandemic levels.

This year the Barrie Food Bank needs over 900 turkeys to support the needs of their members.

So if you’re in a position to do so, please to help out our community – it might just win yourself some Bash Passes.
