Surveillance Cameras Catch Glimpse of Car Wash Break and Enter Suspects
Two Break Ins, Hours Apart
A pair of suspected bandits was caught on camera. Barrie Police say two men broke into the Klassic Car Wash on Burton Ave. over the weekend, and made off with a lot of change, not once, but twice. Around 12:30 Sunday morning, the first suspect showed up and pried open a utility room, then pried open some coin-operated machines before taking off. Police say the same suspect returned with another around 8:00, and used keys stolen in the first trip to gain access to a few other coin-operated machines. Police have released surveillance footage of the second incident, seen below. The suspects are described as:
Suspect # 1
- Male, white
- Thin build
- Short black hair, well-groomed mustache and beard
- Wearing a blue “Under Armor” baseball hat, black “Cabela’s” jacket, jeans and blue “Under Armor” running shoes, during first break and enter.
- Wearing a black jacket with an “H/H” symbol on the left sleeve during second break and enter.
Suspect # 2
- Male, white
- Medium build
- Wearing a dark toque, dark green hoodie, camouflage pants and running shoes.
