Suspect Images Released Following November Assault

Police say woman attacked downtown restaurant employees

Barrie Police have surveillance video now of an assault allegedly taking place in November in downtown Barrie. Police say just after 5:00 on the evening of November 4th, an intoxicated woman entered the Bourbon restaurant and became belligerent with a female employee, striking her in the face several times. Another employee intervened, and was allegedly bit on the hand for his trouble. Police showed up, too late to catch the suspect, but the bitten employee was taken to hospital for treatment. The suspect is described as:

  • Female
  • white
  • 45 – 50 years
  • 5’6
  • 110-115 lbs
  • slim build
  • Short dark curly hair
  • Wearing a cream coloured jacket
