Cookstown Mall Makes Fuzzy Donation

New bearYou might think the South Simcoe Police’s newest little friends are un-BEAR-able, but they’ve got a worthy purpose. The police service just received a donation of 72 teddy bears from the Tanger Outlet’s Calendar Club store. The tiny stuffed recruits will be put in police cruisers and given to children in need of comfort following an incident of some kind. Customers of the Calendar Club were given a chance to purchase a stuffed toy that was then donated out, and South Simcoe Police have been handing out toys to emotionally shocked children since 1997.
