Huntsville Teen Accused of Assaulting Elderly Man
18-year-old Had To Be Restrained Until Police Arrived
A bizarre assault in Huntsville. Witnesses told police a teen approached a man in Huntsville just before 5:00 yesterday afternoon, and demanded a ride. When the teen was turned down, he allegedly approached a nearby elderly couple and assaulted a 71-year-old man. The motorist who said no to the ride then restrained the teen until police arrived. The 18-year-old Huntsville man is facing charges including Assaulting a Police Officer, while the elderly man was treated in hospital.
