Young at Heart Motorcycle Ride

The 18th Annual Young at Heart Motorcycle Ride will be held on Saturday, August 26, at Barrie Harley-Davidson who will be hosting the event kick-off and registration before riders venture on a scenic country route. Riders will complete the route at the IOOF Seniors Homes, where the Home will host a post-ride BBQ for participants, residents, and staff to come together to enjoy a delicious lunch, raffle prizes, entertainment, and more! Registration fee is $50.00 and pre-registration is required.

The 2023 Young at Heart Ride helps raise essential funds to assist in the expansion of our long-term care facility (10 Brooks Street, Barrie), addressing the growing need for increased care in our community. The IOOF is embarking on a $48 million redevelopment capital project to expand the facility to a 226-bed long-term care home. This transformative revitalization will create 64 new long-term care beds and 66 upgraded beds, modern spaces, updated equipment, private rooms, and increased square footage.
