The co-founder of Woodstock 1969, founder of Woodstock 50, Michael Lang is at it again. After multiple sources close to DigitalMusicNews, and YourEDM say Michael Lang confirmed that Woodstock 50 is still happening despite recent negative attention, articles that have come out in the past month have damaged fans hope for a show.

Yep… That is a real headline, on a real website, for real people…. Somehow, there is 30 million dollars missing from the festivals account and Michael Lang claims, investers stole 17 million of that….

Despite the ugly situation Michael has some serious funds to come up with and FAST. Considering today is Wednesday.. that would mean we have just begun the First 48. In all seriousness this just seems like a total mess.

From Artists pulling out, to funds being lost, cancelled, or stolen. I think this one needs 50 more years to figure it out, and hopefully not become another Netflix Documentary.
