Weapons Call Put Two Orillia Schools Into Hold and Secure
Thorough Search of Area Turned Up No Suspects
A call about a man with a gun sent two Orillia schools into a Hold and Secure today, while OPP report they found no suspects. Police got the weapons call just after 3:30 this afternoon, from a bus driver who thought they saw a man with a long gun walking along Park Street. Both Samuel De Champlain and Orillia Secondary were put into a Hold and Secure as a precaution, while police combed the area. No suspects matching the description were located, while police continue to investigate.
