Barrie Food Bank Thankful For Help During Annual Drive
They Need 160,000 pounds of food to meet demand this year
Thanksgiving is almost upon us, which is a great time to make sure Barrie’s less fortunate have a reason to be thankful. The Barrie Food Bank is today kicking off their annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. If you check the Barrie Advance today, you’ll likely find one of 53,000 donation bags tucked inside. They’re hoping that’ll help the food bank meet this year’s goal of raising 160,000 pounds of food and $100,000 to help replenish shelves afterwards.
