Two Motorists Charged With Stunt Driving Over Weekend

A Peterborough woman has been charged with stunt driving after police caught her driving almost 60 km over the speed limit! Southern Georgian Bay OPP noticed the vehicle on Highway 400 and it tagged at 157 km an hour. The 40 year old woman has been charged with stunt driving and her license has been suspended for 7 days along with her vehicle.
A Barrie teen received the same 7 day license suspension and vehicle impoundment after police caught him driving over 200 KM  and hour within the city limits over the weekend.  The 19 year old was clocked doing 175 on the 400 just north of Mapleview Drive. The Driver was kind enough to correct the Police officer and informed him that he was actually driving 205 km and hour!  Despite his honesty, he was still charged with stunt driving.
