Sleeping Off A Bender In The Drive Through A No-No!
A Klienburg area man will have his day in court after falling asleep in the drive through. Barrie Police say the 23 year old was at the Barrieview McDonalds when he fell asleep. Employees of the fast food shop tried to wake him up, but wittiness’s say the driver confessed to drinking too much and wanted to sleep it off. Police woke him up. And took him down town.. Where he blew twice the legal limit.
He is now facing a 90 day license suspension and lost his car for 7 days.
