Police are looking for someone accused of taking a few swings at a pharmacy employee. Around 5:00 Monday afternoon, Barrie Police got the call to an Essa Rd. pharmacy, where they were told a woman had been pocketing items off the store’s shelves. Officers say, when the woman went to leave, she set off the alarm, causing an employee to try and stop her. That’s when police say the suspect punched the employee several times before running off on foot, leaving the stolen goods behind. The employee received minor injuries. The suspect is described as:
- Piercing on right cheek
- thin build
- 150-160 lbs.
- Long black hair tied up with a scarf
- Wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, camouflage vest and blue jeans.
