The passage of time doesn’t matter to the long arm of the law. A woman arrested at Pearson Airport knows this first hand. In May of 1994, a woman was arrested over allegations of Fraud, and was scheduled to appear for sentencing in June of ’96. They say she didn’t show, and no one heard from her until she arrived at Pearson yesterday, from Jamaica where she’d been living. Customs agents caught wind of the 20-year-old arrest warrant and turned her over to Barrie’s finest. The 64-year-old woman was taken back to the Barrie police station and given a court date in April. Let’s see if she shows for this one.
