Man in Mobility Scooter Sent to Hospital

Witnesses are needed after a collision sent a man in a mobility scooter to hospital. The crash happened around 3:30 at the intersection of Simcoe and Mary Streets in downtown Barrie, between vehicle and scooter, sending a 67-year-old man to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say the 24-year-old Barrie woman driving the car is cooperating with investigators, and while no charges have been laid, police need anyone who saw the crash to come forward.
