What Went Down At The Barrie Lakeshore Last Night?

I’m down by the Lakeshore last night and I’m walking past this parking lot noticing there are all of these people awkwardly hovering around while on their phones, but also talking to each other. And then there are all of these parked cars with people sitting in them on their phones. I’m like “What is so hip and happenin’ in a Lakeshore parking lot in Barrie on a Sunday night?” And then it dawned on me…

Everybody except me is playing Pokemon Go! They were all trying to capture Pokemon.

Yesterday was the first official day the app was available in Canada so everyone was all over that. I had to know what all of the hype was about so I gave in and downloaded the app right then and there and caught my first Pokemon. I think the app is kind of cool because it allows you to be on your phone but also be social.
