The Joker Is Set For Release October 4th
The dark first trailer for the Joaquin Phoenix-starring film The Joker has arrived and it’s definitely going to leave you feeling weird.
The new clip portrays The Joker as a victim in a twisted way that will make shivers run down your spine as Phoenix gets punched in the street, dances with a girl, maniacally laughs on a subway, and speaks to a therapist, all while a crooner cover of Nat King Cole’s “Smile” plays in the background. “I used to think my life was a tragedy,” Phoenix creepily states in the trailer. “But now I realize…it’s a comedy.”
