Hammett tumbled backwards after slipping on the wet pedal
During a recent show in Milan, Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett fell on stage after he slipped on a rain-soaked guitar pedal.
In the close-up video, Hammett plays his legendary “Moth Into Flame” solo, when suddenly he steps on his wet pedal and takes a tumble backwords. Luckily, Hammett escaped the incident unharmed, and in the most metal way possible, he continued on with the show. Not only does the good sport get up right away and keep playing in the clip, but he even shared the brief video on Twitter and poked a little fun at himself.
