Bill Nye isn’t messing around. The typically tame “Science Guy” appeared on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on Sunday, when he shows how fed up he is by going on a swear word-filled rant about climate change.
The beloved television personality, renowned for his role on Bill Nye the Science Guy, appeared in a segment about the plan to fight climate change, where he began to toss around the F-bomb. The plan, which is sponsored by US House of Representatives’ Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Ed Markey, is known as the Green New Deal. “By the end of this century, if emissions keep rising, the average temperature on Earth could go up another four to eight degrees,” Nye explains as he loses his patient. “What I’m saying is the planet is on f*cking fire.”
