WATCH: 457 Guitarists Play ‘Highway to Hell’
In an attempt to break a world record
457 guitarists attempted to break the world record for “Largest Electric Guitar Ensemble”at the Sydney Guitar Festival over the weekend. Australia is the home of AC/DC so it’s fitting that they gathered together to play “Highway to Hell”. All the money raised at the event went to the Australian Children’s Music Foundation.
The previous record was set in 2013 when 368 guitarists gathered in India to play “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door”. It could take up to six weeks for Guinness to declare this new attempt the record.
