Warning For Bradford Driver After Barely Missing RIDE Check

Police Say He Pulled a 180 When He Spied The Spot Check

A driver had his wrists slapped after they say he tried to duck a RIDE stop. South Simcoe Police were set up on Holland St. in Bradford last night, when they say a vehicle started to approach before making an abrupt turn after spotting the RIDE check. Police chased down the white van, and say they could smell alcohol on the driver’s breath. The breathalyser gave him a warning however, the man’s licence has been suspended for three days.
