Imagine, just for a minute being a high school aged teenager that has no place to go on a cold winter night. It can happen for a number of different reasons, but in most cases there is no family or friends available to take them in during the depths of the winter cold and they end up out on the street trying to cope with the freezing elements. Youth Haven is a place for youth between the ages of 16 and 24 to find warmth, food and support when there is no place for them to turn. Youth Haven is a temporary solution until their lives can be sorted out and they are able to move on. It’s a very valuable service that offers support, counselling, food and friendship in a world where everyone else has turned them away.
