The Tragically Hip need your votes! They’re asking fans to vote for their favourite Hip lyrics to be engraved on a commemorative stone in their hometown of Kingston, ON.
The options are:
“everybody was in it from miles around” from Blow at High Dough
or
“We danced the sidewalk clean” from New Orleans is Sinking.
The stone will be placed in Spring Market Square where 25 000 gathered to watch the live stream of their final show at the K-Rock Centre in Kingston on Aug. 20.
Alongside the lyrics, it’ll say “The Tragically Hip, A National Celebration, August 20, 2016.”
