Video Game Theft In North End Barrie

Two Players Involved In Distraction Theft

Toys R Us TheftBarrie Police Service are looking for the pair they say was behind a distraction theft at a north end toy store. Around 7:00 on the night of February 11th, investigators say a man and woman went into the Bayfield St. Toys R Us, and while the woman distracted the electronics section employee, the man allegedly filled his pockets with video games. Investigators believe the pair made off with about $200 worth of games.

The male suspect is described as:

  • White
  • Approx. 5’10” – 6’0”
  • Heavy build, approx. 180lbs.
  • Wearing a black baseball hat, black jacket, dark pants and white/black shoes.

The female suspect is described as;

  • White
  • Approx. 5’5”- 5’7”
  • Heavy build, multi-colored hair with a pink stripe
  • Wearing a black jacket and dark pants.
