Usain-ley Amazing!

Jamaica's Usain Bolt Three-peats!

Usain Bolt made Olympic history last night and it took less than 10 seconds to do it!  The Jamaican running superstar became the first person to ever capture three consecutive 100 metre Gold medal titles as the World’s Fastest Man!  A span of 12 years of holding the title against all competitors!

As Rio 2016 will likely be Usain Bolt’s last Olympic competition,  so it is for silver medalist American Justin Gatlin which means if all goes well, Markam’s Andre De Grassse could be in line to be the “next one” as he captured the bronze medal in his debut Olympic appearance with a personal best of 9.91 seconds and becoming the first Canadian man to win a medal in Rio.

After last night’s history making race, there is still work to be done in with Usain Bolt and Andre De Grasse both in the 200 metre and the 4 x 100 relay, and hopefully more men’s track medals to come for Canada.
