U2 Set To Release 30th Anniversary Edition Of The Joshua Tree

Special Edition To Be Released June 2nd

Believe it or not, it’s been 30 years since U2 released their highest-selling album The Joshua Tree. The album has spawned hits such as “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For,” “Where the Streets Have No Name” and “With Or Without You.”

To honour the anniversary, U2 has announced a set of deluxe reissues of the album. The deluxe editions include alive recording of The Joshua Tree Tour from Madison Square Gardens in 1987, album outtakes and b-sides as well as new remixes from producers like Daniel Lanois and Flood. They will be released in several formats.

The box sets will also include a hardcover book of previously unseen photography shot by the edge at the original 1986 Mojave Desert photo shoot.

Standard, deluxe, and super deluxe reissue audio will also be available digitally. The whole package is set for release June 2. U2 launches their The Joshua Tree tour in May.
