Two Dozen Agri-sector Companies Getting Federal, Provincial Funding
They’re pouring a million dollars into our region to improve the food and drink sector in Barrie and area. Federal and provincial big wigs were in Cookstown today to outline a program called Growing Forward 2, in which 24 organizations in Simcoe and Dufferin will split the grant money to make improvements to our agri-food and agri-products sectors. The organizations sharing in the funds, and what they plan on doing with the money, are as follows:
