Trucker Killed In Port Severn-Area Crash
Police Say Transport Truck Left Roadway And Struck Rock Face
A Brampton truck driver is dead following a single vehicle collision north of Port Severn. OPP say a tractor trailer was southbound on the 400 around 7:30 last night, when it left the roadway and struck a rock face near South Bay Road. Emergency crews rushed to the scene, but 41-year-old Gurpreet Singh Gill was pronounced dead on scene. Police are investigating how Gill left the road, any witnesses should contact the Southern Georgian Bay OPP detachment.
