Traffic Stops In Innisfil, Bradford End With DUI Charges

Impaired Driving Charges Laid About 20 Minutes Apart

Two people are up on Drunk Driving charges in separate traffic stops less than half an hour apart. South Simcoe Police pulled a vehicle over on Holland St. in Bradford just before 11:00 last night, after it was spotted driving erratically. Police say the smell of alcohol was on the driver’s breath, and after a breathalyser test, a 30-year-old Barrie woman has been charged. Then, about 20 minutes later, a vehicle was stopped on Innisfil Beach Road, after police say it was weaving from side to side. The driver was allegedly showing signs of impairment. A 72-year-old Innisfil man has a court appointment later this month.
