Toronto Raptors Make History

We The North!

Nervous but excited Toronto Raptor fans gathered early for Game 7 of the 2nd round NBA Playoffs in played at the A.C.C. in Toronto last night. The faithful were feeling confident that their team could be the better team on this Sunday evening, but at the same time they were apprehensive as we’ve seen the home team meltdown in the 3rd and 4th quarter during these first two rounds of the playoffs.

On this night however, there would be no late collapse in the offence. No disappearance in shot and basket making toward the end of the game. Only sheer dominance and determination to finish the job convincingly. The Raptors would lead the game from start to finish and as the seconds ticked down toward the end of the game with a 27 point lead, it became clear the Toronto Raptors and their fans who have waited for more than 20 years were headed to the Eastern Conference final for the first time in franchise history.

The Toronto Raptors have earned themselves a date now with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers starting Tuesday night in Cleveland, and while fans would love to see the Raptors go all the way to the NBA finals, no matter what happens from this point forward, from a fan’s point of view, and from the franchise standpoint as well, the 2016 Toronto Raptor season is already a huge success. The rest to come is all gravy for everyone involved.
