Three Men Arrested Following Armed Robbery In Barrie

Charges Laid Following Dunlop Gas Station Robbery

An armed robbery in Barrie. Around 11:00 last night, police say two men wearing masks, armed with a handgun, ran into the McEwen Gas Station on Dunlop Street and tied up the store employee. The pair left the store with a quantity of currency, but a witness was able to give police a decent description of the getaway car. Police caught up to the suspect vehicle and arrested three men. Two of them, aged 36 and 49, will face a slew of charges, while the driver, a 27-year-old man will answer to a charge of Robbery. All three suspects are from the GTA.
