Texas Rangers Fans Attempt to Help Odor Pay his Fine with GoFundMe

Jose Bautista was on the receiving end of a pretty vicious punch from Rougned Odor, which resulted in an epic brawl between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Texas Rangers over the weekend. The MLB has handed out fines and suspensions for those involved.

Jose Bautista: one-game suspension

Rougned Odor: eight-game suspension and a $5000 fine

Blue Jays Manager John Gibbons: three-game suspension and a $5000 fine

First-base coach Tim Leiper: one-game suspension

Jays Releiver Jesse Chavez: three-game suspension for hitting Prince Fielder

Texas Shortstop Elvis Andrus: one-game suspension

Josh Donaldson, Kevin Pilar and five Texas Rangers players also received fines of an undisclosed amount from the MLB for “aggressive actions”.

Texas fans anticipated the fine for Odor and someone started a GoFundMe page to help him pay for it.
