Teen Struck At Downtown Barrie Intersection

Injuries Said to Be Non Life Threatening

A Barrie teen was sent to hospital after being struck by a car. Barrie Police say the 16-year-old girl’s injuries are not life threatening, after they say she was struck at the intersection of Dunlop and Toronto Streets around 8:30 last night. No charges have been laid, Barrie Police point out the driver has been cooperative in the investigation. The intersection was closed for about an hour for investigation, and police say that investigation continues. Any witnesses are asked to call the Barrie Police Service.
